Success vs Failure

“Success comes to those who are success conscious. Failure comes to those who indifferently allow themselves to become failure conscious.”-Napoleon Hill

Often we think negative (aka failure) thoughts, especially in our daily self-talk.

  • Don’t stop.
  • Don’t cheat on your diet.
  • Don’t break your streak.
  • Don’t miss this meeting/workout/etc.

Rather than motivating ourselves we are actually signally to our brain to focus on not failing. But your brain skips the not portion of the thought.

We’re actually setting ourselves up for failure; hence the indifferently portion.

I challenge you to set yourself up for success. This week focus on positive (aka success) thoughts.

  • Keep going.
  • Keep on track with your diet.
  • Keep your promise to yourself.
  • Keep this commitment.

My friend, Chris Chandler spoke to this the other day on his story.

I read about it this morning in Think & Grow Rich.

I don’t believe in coincidences but rather signs pointing me to areas I need to improve upon.

I share this with you because maybe, just maybe, one of you can use this nudge from the Universe (or God, whatever you believe) as well.

Happy Sunday, friends. 💖

Remember, you were made for more.
