Why Does Isagenix Work?
I just celebrated 4 years with Isagenix, I can’t believe how fast time went by! When I tell people I’ll never not consume Isagenix products the question I get asked most frequently is, “Why does Isagenix work (and not other diets/plans)?”
I shared this with a potential client yesterday and thought I would share my response with all of you.
Honestly as a science nerd, this is may favorite question.
First-Isagenix is not a diet, this is a lifestyle nutrition.
Now, let’s start with some diet basics.
The majority of diets work because they continuously restrict calorie intake (e.g., 1200 calories every). However, because of this constant (food) restriction there is a tendency to have increased hungry which leads to more frequent over eating; thus a difficult time sustaining such diets.
Here’s Why Isagenix Works– because we focus on the frequency in which we eat (not necessarily the total calories). This is where intermittent fasting (IF), or as we call it Cleanse day(s) comes in.
Science suggests intermittent fasting is at least as effective as daily restriction of calories, both short and long term (Seimon RV et.al., 2015).
Here’s the exciting part, while intermittent fasting (IF) has become a recent fitness buzz phrase Isagenix has been incorporating this science for over 20 years. So you could say, we’re kind of experts.😊
But in all seriousness, cleanse days are possible because of the nutrients we consume throughout the day via Cleanse for Life. This phytonutrient-rich beverage reinforces what our bodies are designed to do- eliminate toxins.
