Dinner- Halibut

I’m back to sharing my dinner recipes/ideas because:

  • We need more everyday food pics on social.
  • I need to be more accountable to healthy meal planning.
  • It feels like everything has fucking seed oils (refer to my post regarding skin cancer). So here’s Dinner- Halibut edition.

Here’s a renewed seres from your 98% plant based (aka dairy free pescatarian) friend.

I’ll share more on why I’m no longer 100% plant based and what my day to day nutrition looks like a little down the road.

Dinner tonight (approximately $35 for two with left overs).-

  • Sustainably sourced halibut- ½ pound (~¼ pictured) from Santa Monica Seafood.
  • Brussels sprouts- 3 pounds (not all pictured) from Bristol Farms.
  • Asparagus- ~2 pounds (not all pictured) from Bristol Farms.
  • Mexican style riced cauliflower (~¼ package pictured) from Trader Joe’s.

The Halibut was seared with salt and fresh lemon. Veggies were cooked in Montey’s plant based butter and hot honey. And, the rice was cooked in 1 tbsp avocado oil (vs 2 tbsp as directed).

Enjoy!🩷J
