16 Days Post-op for Kamea

Today is 16 days post-op for Kamea and we had a check-up with Dr. Pedraza.

Kamea had a great check-up.

The swelling in her foot has subsided, she is putting weight on her leg (even ‘standing up’), and her stitches were removed.

We go back in 12 days for another check up, in the meantime Kamea and I will be sleeping on the floor. Dr. Pedraza explained what could happen if Kamea decided to jump down, obviously sleeping in a bed is not worth the risk.

Now, I just need her hair to grow back. 🤣
