Coffee Protein

A coffee protein shake is a delicious and energizing way to start your day or refuel after a workout. This recipe combines the rich flavors of coffee with the nutritional benefits of protein, offering a satisfying and invigorating drink.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of brewed coffee (cooled)- I prefer cold brew
  • 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder (vanilla works the best)- I use Isagenix plant based
  • 1/2 cup of milk- I use homemade almond milk
  • 1 banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup- optional
  • Ice cubes (a handful, for a colder, thicker shake)

Instructions:

  • Brew and Cool the Coffee: or pro tip, use what is left from yesterday.
  • Blend the Ingredients: In a blender, add the cooled coffee, protein powder, milk, banana, honey, and ice cubes.
  • Blend Until SmoothYou may need to stop and scrape down the sides to ensure all ingredients are well combined.
