Grocery List

Frequently, I am asked what my grocery list looks like after I post recipes, so I compiled a rough outline of what I get and from where as a mostly plant based (i.e., diary free pescatarian) household (for humans, Kamea is full carnivore 🤣). 

Side note: I know a there is controversy around eggs being classified as diary or not- for the purposes of this list- I am not considering eggs as dairy.

I also don’t eat eggs therefore I don’t really care what they are classified as- because I think they’re gross (but I digress).

Caveat: Obviously, things change with the seasons and we don’t always consume everything on the list within a week, but the items outlined here are my staples.

Erewhon (1x week):

  • Abbot’s Butcher (chicken alternatives)
  • Follow Your Heart cheese (slices)
  • Miyoko’s (liquid) cheese
  • Orange juice
  • (Vegan) Pesto
  • (Vegan) Ranch
  • Bell peppers
  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • Dates
  • Red onion
  • Large tomato
  • Spinach
  • Fresh Bread
  • Spicy kale chips
  • Trail mix or dried mango
  • CBD sparkling water

Trade Joe’s (1x week):

  • Salad packs (2 southwestern, 2 bbq black pepper)
  • (Vegan) Ceasar dressing
  • (Vegan) Dill dressing (mayo replacement)
  • Pre cut garlic
  • Pre cut onion
  • Bananas
  • Baby carrots
  • Micro greens
  • Egg wraps
  • Cauliflower gnocchi (x2)
  • Hashbrowns
  • French fries
  • Veggie pot stickers
  • Veggie rice
  • White rice
  • Pizza dough (and toppings if needed)
  • Cashew cheese ravioli
  • Espresso beans

Imperfect Foods (~1x week):

  • Asparagus
  • Avocados
  • Cauliflower
  • Cherry tomatos
  • Cucumber
  • Jalapeños
  • Baby potatoes
  • Good Planet cheese
  • Paster-raised eggs
  • Forager yogurt
  • Sustainably caught fish (in season)
  • Actual veggies (burger) patties
  • Siete chips
  • Siete refried beans
  • Cold brew concentrate

Costco (~6 weeks):

  • Almonds (unsalted)
  • Cashews (unsalted)
  • Hummus
  • Tortillas
  • Pickles
  • Canned (albacore) tuna
  • Black beans
  • Garbanzo beans
  • Simple Mills crackers
  • Pasta
  • Coconut water
  • Sparkling water
  • Truff hot sauce

Lastly, I don’t eat breakfast. I intermittent fast until around 12-1 and break my fast with a (plant based) protein shake
