Remembering Keiki

Five months ago, Austin and I said good-bye to our little Keiki.

It was an unexpected, terrifying, and heart-breaking weekend amplified by stay at home orders.

I waited almost 4 months before California reopened and I was able to have Chris (from The Dolorosa Tattoo Company) tattoo the tiniest memorial (K & A on my collar bone while we talked about a bigger design).

Once again, Chris was able to translate my rough idea into a timeless work of art.

I’m reminded of our sweet girl every time I see it; thank you, Chris.
