Elleven (11) Years of Marriage

As Austin and I celebrate 11 years of Marriage, I want to share a few things I have learned along the way.

  • Marriage is not always 50/50, some days you will need to put in a little more effort.
  • Choose for someone who will encourage you to chase your dreams and grow.
  • Understand each other’s strengths and let them take point in the situation.
  • Communication is important but listening will save your relationship.
  • Golf takes five+ (5+) hours, even if the round only took three (3).
  • Life is incredibly short, say I love you even when you are upset.
  • Date nights are important, but so is having no phone time.
  • Experiences last longer than material possessions.
  • Outsource chores either of you hate doing.
  • Fight fair, only bring up current issues.
  • Separate toilets are necessary.

Happy 11 years of marriage, my love. Choosing you was the easiest and best decision I ever made.

Thank you for loving me.💕
