Carbs + Working Out

🍞To carb or not to carb?🍞

This seems to be the (most important) question from most of the women I train(ed).

Well, sis I’m here to tell you there is not one size fits all answer.

It depends on a handful of variables, most important being:

Do you workout?

Research suggests individuals should consume 30 to 75 grams of carbohydrate for every hour of exercise (Larson-Meyer & Ruscigno 2020).

Fear not, you don’t have to stuff bread in your face after a soulcyle double. (I mean, feel free if you that’s your thing.)

Carbs are found in EVERYTHING, from our pre workout to protein shakes.

Keep in mind, not all carbs are created equal but I’ll get to that later.

Happy Wednesday, make sure you move your body today.
